Noetic Prayer

"An elder said,
The true knowledge of noetic prayer for a person begins first with a true understanding of his ailing self and his weaknesses. God does not let anyone down. The one who possesses noetic prayer asks to be cured, wants to understand, and is seeking guidance. He who is clean in heart wants a spiritual guide, has the fear of God in him, and humbles himself. This fear protects him from misapprehensions. Catechism also starts when there is that fear. One is helped by forcing himself, and his good works increase. That person finally reaches theoria, and understands the meaning of the final judgement and hell and the heavenly kingdom.

When one walks in truth he does not fall into traps. He understands everything. The one who is misled walks in the air.
